5 November 2014 RU-CENTER starts application process for Sunrise, Landrush and General Availability registration in .TATAR TLD:
The mission of .TATAR domain is to assist in global and regional development of Internet, quality enhancement of its use, identity development of the Tatar society in the world, shaping a uniform information space of Tatarstan Republic and attracting additional audience to websites, which thematics and activity is related to ethnic and culture values, historical traditions and ethnic & culture heritage of Tatarstan.

Landrush registration of domain names will be held in several stages in 2015:
Sunrise and Landrush applications will be accepted throughout the whole period and will be reviewed upon its completion. If two or more applications are submitted for the same domain name, then the administrator of these TLDs will hold a private auction among the applicants according to the rules established by the Registry Operator.
General Availability phase will be launched 23 March 2015.
Due to the start of the application process the Addenda to the Multiple Services Contract will be modified accordingly.
