18 August | Limited Registration Period I for .МОСКВА and .MOSCOW TLDs

On August 19, 2014, 12:00 noon (MSK), the Limited Registration Period II will start in the new top-level domains .МОСКВА and .MOSCOW. This is a period for specific user categories:

• exclusive owners of trade names registered in Moscow;
• exclusive owners of appellations of origin registered in Moscow and/or Moscow Region;
• non-profit organizations set up under the laws in effect in the Russian Federation and registered in Moscow;
• founders of mass media outlets registered under the procedure specified in the laws in effect in the Russian Federation, with output intended for distribution in Russia (including Moscow).

The Limited Registration Period II in .МОСКВА and .MOSCOW will be effective until August 25 inclusive.

In addition, RU-CENTER is still accepting applications for Landrush (starts September 24) and General Availability (starts December 1) registration periods in .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА. Registration fee for 1 year will be:

• during Sunrise and Limited registration periods — 3000 RUB,
• during Landrush registration period — from 2250 to 225,000 RUB,
• upon launch of General Availability period — from 270 rubles (subject to the partner's current tariff rate).

Annual renewal fee for domain names registered during any registration periods will be from 270 RUB per year (subject to the partner's current tariff rate).
