You can find information about your current rate plan and switch to another plan in the "Manage your account" section → "My domains" → "Domain name" → "Change rate plan."
You can place an order for renewal rate plan change at any time. A new rate plan will come into effect at the time of domain renewal, but no earlier than 60 days prior to its expiration date.
To choose the price plan for your domain name:
- Go to the "Manage your account" section → "My domains → "Domain name" → "Change rate plan."
- Select the new price plan.
If there are more than 60 days left before the domain expiration date, when the "Select rate plan" button is pressed, the order for rate plan change will be accepted, and the new plan will come into effect at the time of domain’s automatic renewal, which will occur 1 day before the expiration date (if there are sufficient funds in the personal account and renewal had not been canceled).
The new rate plan's effective date will be available in "My domains" section.
If there are fewer than 60 days left until the domain expiration date, you can choose any of the following rate change options:
- switch to the new rate plan instantly by choosing the "Change immediately" option and pressing the "Choose and renew rate plan" button.
- Press "Place order" and top up your account by any available means if there are insufficient funds.
- Once the payment is made, the domain name will be renewed in the Registry for the next period, and all options under the new rate plan will become available to you. In this case, the domain expiration date will not change and the validity period will be extended by 1 year.
- switch to the new rate plan during domain renewal by choosing the "Change upon renewal" option and pressing the "Choose rate plan" button.
In this case, the order for rate plan change will be accepted, and the new plan will come into effect at the time of domain's automatic renewal, which will occur 1 day before the expiration date (if there are sufficient funds in the personal account and renewal had not been canceled).
