On August 18, RU-CENTER starts General Availability registration in new top-level domains .ACCOUNTANT, .DATE, .DOWNLOAD, .FAITH, .LOAN, .NEWS, .RACING, .REVIEW, and .WIN. Anyone will be able to register a good-looking domain at the price in accordance with the current tariff rate.
Furthermore, from August 18, RU-CENTER starts accepting orders for Sunrise, Landrush, and General Availability domain name registration in .LIVE and .STUDIO.
Sunrise period — for owners of trademarks included in the Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) — will last until October 17. If two or more applications are submitted for the same domain name, then a private auction will be held among the applicants. If domain name is not registered following the application evaluation results, the registration fee will be refunded. The application fee is non-refundable.
Upon completion of the Sunrise period, RU-CENTER will start processing orders from anyone during the Landrush and General Availability periods.
During the week-long Landrush period domains will be available at higher prices. Then standard registration fees will come into effect.
Due to the start of order acceptance for domain name registration, the addenda to the Agreement will be modified accordingly.
