VPS/VDS means a virtual dedicated server provided by a hosting provider to its users for rent. Operating systems are usually divided into the Linux and Windows families. Which one to choose depends on the goals of your project. Windows is a convenient and efficient operating system suitable for the deployment of a large-scale project with little effort. A Windows-based VPS is an important and meaningful contribution to stable operation of your resource.

The main difference between a VDS/VPS and virtual hosting is that any user can install the necessary software and flexibly configure the server and remote access for their tasks. This functionality does not depend on the operating system installed.

In the English-speaking IT sector, "VPS" and "VDS" mean the same — a server running in a virtual environment. The confusion occurred because of its Russian translation and some minor differences in the technology.

"VPS" means a virtual private server.

"VDS" means a virtual dedicated server.

SSD-2 and SSD-3 will suit you if you need to order a VPS Windows at a low cost and use it as a test platform, or it will be perfect as a test platform for hosting medium-sized low-traffic websites or apps.

SSD-4, SSD-5, and SSD-6 are universal price plans for organizing the workplace, launching 1C: Enterprise/Accounting, uploading a large number of websites or high-traffic websites, for instance, online stores.

SSD-7 and SSD-8 rate plans are perfect for projects with special reliability and performance requirements (government agencies and financial institutions).
