What is e-mail verification procedure?

Verification procedure shall be conducted within 15 days after:

• Domain registration;
• Domain transfer from another registrar;
• E-mail modifications in Whois contact (Registrant type).

After occurrence of one of the above events the letter with the link will be sent to the e-mail subject to verification. By clicking on this link the e-mail will be deemed validated. If e-mail was once validated, it will not be re-verified.

If e-mail was not verified within 15 days:

• If a new domain was registered, it will be locked;
• If a domain was transferred from another registrar, it will be locked;
• If e-mail was changed in whois-contact of Registrant type, all domains using this contact will be locked.

If e-mail was not earlier validated, it can be validated in advance in the "Manage your account" panel before the above events occur, when domain may fall in lock status (see e-mail validation).
