Letter Issuance Sample Procedure for Legal Entities

  • The information contained in the letter shall be identical to that in RU-CENTER database.

  • The letter shall be issued on an official letterhead.

  • The letter shall be signed by the head of the organization, i.e. according to the Articles of Association - Director, Managing Director, Rector or Chairman of Board of Directors.

  • The letter shall be dated. It has a validity period of 3 months since the signing date.

  • Director's signature shall be affixed with a seal if the organization's Articles of Association has a provision on the seal. If the letter is not certified with the company's seal, you must enclose a copy of the corporate charter to prove that the company has no seal.

  • Only originals are accepted. Such procedures as domains ownership transfer, registrar change, domains deletion will not be made by faxed or electronic letter copies (letter copies may be submitted only for verification purposes).

  • Letters and documents with facsimile signatures will not be accepted.

  • Domain shall be indicated without "www" prefix (for example, test.ru).

  • Domain names containing Cyrillic characters must be listed both in Cyrillic form and in PUNYCODE.
    For example: ру-центр.su (XN----JTBYJDLDZ.SU).

  • Domains in Cyrillic TLDs (.РФ, .МОСКВА, .ДЕТИ, .ОНЛАЙН, .САЙТ, .ОРГ) may be listed only in Cyrillic form, without PUNYCODE.

  • Domain list issue procedure

All the documents needed for domain ownership transfer should be delivered or sent in a single package.
A letter having two or more pages shall be stitched and numbered. The back cover shall have indication of total pages in words, affixed with director's signature and seal (if the organization's Articles of Association has a provision on the seal).
