When certificate is ordered for a domain name with "www" prefix, it will also protect the same domain without "www", but only if you ordered a second-level domain name, for example, domain.ru. In a certificate signing request (CSR) the domain should be indicated with "www". This rule applies only to third-level domains like www.domain.ru.
