From June 1, 2021, the Brand Protection service provides monthly reports on how frequent a commercial designation and relevant keywords are mentioned on social media, marketplaces, popular ad placement platforms, and in search engine results. Service users can choose up to six websites from these categories to be monitored. Reports containing website monitoring results are sent by email.
The new functions will help trademark owners identify cases of fraud and unfair competition related to their brands more efficiently.
