About New Version of the "Terms and Conditions for Domains Registration in RU and РФ TLDs"
In September 2011 the Coordination Center for TLD RU (CC) took a decision to update the documents regulating domains registration in RU and РФ TLDs. The new version of the "Terms and Conditions for Domains Registration in RU and РФ TLDs" will take effect November 11, 2011. Entry of the updated Terms and Conditions into force will trigger the below changes in the existing process of .RU and .РФ domains registration:
- The restrictions for transfer of administration rights to .РФ domains registered within the period of November 11, 2010 — November 10, 2011 will be lifted.
- The restrictions for .РФ domains registration for non-RF residents will be lifted.
- The period, in which Registrant or Registrar change is prohibited from the moment of obtaining Administration rights from a third person or Registrar change, will reduce from 60 to 30 days for .RU and .РФ domains.
- No administration rights change, domain transfer to another Registrar and cancelling of .RU and .РФ domains upon Registrant's request will be possible upon expiry of domain registration term.
- No administration rights change, domain transfer to another Registrar for .RU and .РФ domains will be possible, if the domain name is stop-listed by RU-CENTER or CC.
- No Registrant change for .RU and .РФ domains will be possible simultaneously with Registrar change.
- Delegation of .RU and .РФ domains will be possible, if communication with the Registrant has proven successful through the phone, supporting short message service (sms). The possibility of communication by phone will be established by RU-CENTER with no Registrant involved.
- .RU or .РФ domains that have not been renewed for another
calendar year in due time will be deleted upon completion of
the priority renewal period, no matter whether it is a day off
or a holiday.
- Whois listings for .RU and .РФ domains will have no "e-mail", "phone" and "fax" fields. These fields will be replaced by the link to the web-form for sending messages to the Registrant's email indicated for the domain.
Due to change of the Terms and Conditions for Domains Registration in RU and РФ TLDs the Domains Registration Schedule in RU TLD (Schedule 1/1 to the Service Agreement) and Domains Registration Schedule in РФ TLD (Schedule 1/14 to the Service Agreement) will be updated accordingly:
From November 11, 2011 the Terms and conditions for .РФ domains will be regulated by Schedule 1/1.
