RU-CENTER is Joining Hosting Community Group of CompaniesJSC Regional Network Information Center and Hosting Community Group of Companies, RBC and JSC Regional Network Information Center (RU-NIC) have reached an agreement on RU-CENTER, domain name registrar and hosting provider, joining the Hosting Community Group of Companies. The parties to this agreement expect this joining to produce a strong synergetic effect, to improve profitability of both companies and to reinforce leading position in the domain registration and hosting market. Joint efforts will permit the partners to provide better services to the clients of the integrated company. Taking into consideration the company’s size, sophisticated software and hardware, and large client and contracts databases being available, the parties agreed to institute the staff position of manager in the RU-NIC. Aleksandr Panov, managing partner of Hosting Community, took up this position. Safeguarding Hosting Community interests in the course of merger, monitoring financial flows and any material events in the Regional Network Information Center will be Mr. Panov’s primary objective. Ex-CEO of RU-NIC Aleksei Lesnikov assumed the position of manager advisor. "RU-CENTER is one the major companies in the Internet services industry whose professionalism has been highly appreciated by experts since long ago. The two companies have operated side by side for 10 years; they have close partnership relations. Joint effort will make it possible to attain higher business performance and will be advantageous to both companies as well as to the Webciety as a whole," points out Aleksandr Panov, managing partner of Hosting Community. RU-NIC CEO Councellor Aleksei Lesnikov said, "We are genuinely glad that very soon we will be able to provide all our partners and clients with access to the additional set of hosting services from Hosting Community, a highly reputable professional player of the market." Detailed information on the agreement will be published following all the required legal procedures and after the parties discharge their contractual obligations, in particular upon the approval by RBC’s Board of Directors. |
