.РФ Preorder Registration Policy Changes

In September 30, 2010 the Council of the Council of the Coordination Center for TLD RU approved changes into РФ TLD registration policy.

The new version of the .РФ domains registration policy accounted for the following temporary restrictions for opening .РФ registration:

• by registering a domain name within .РФ domains public registration period, a registrant is not eligible to transfer a domain to another person within the first year upon registration;
• only РФ residents are eligible for .РФ domains registration.

We remind you that RU-CENTER launched submitting procedure for РФ preorders in September 21, 2010, when no restrictions were envisaged by РФ TLD registration policy.

Due to introduction of changes into the Rules appropriate modifications in Domains Preorder Registration Schedule in РФ TLD will take effect shortly.
