Identification Procedure Effective April 1

From April 01, 2010 RU-CENTER clients who signed a Service Agreement before October 01, 2009 during domains registration in RU TLD will be required to submit document copies confirming Registrant's ID data.

Upon receipt and verification of ID document copies client's identification status will be displayed in the "Manage your account" section.

RU-CENTER's identified clients will not be required to resubmit document copies for domain names registration in RU TLD.

.RU domain names renewal procedure is irrespective of submission of ID documents by the client.

RU-CENTER's unidentified clients will be unable to:

• change .RU domain ownership to another registrant;
• change .RU domain sponsorship to another Registrar;
• change ID data under the Service Agreement;
• refuse from administration rights (cancel registration) of .RU domain.
