Use of administrative and technical passwords according to the agreement

Using the administrative password according to the agreement allows you to:

  • Take actions, resulting in money being charged off the personal account of the agreement (order new services or extend services term of validity);
  • Change new services orders execution sequence;
  • Change contact data in the Agreement;
  • Change administrative and technical passwords;
  • Change settings of all services, ordered according to the Agreement;
  • Create accounts for service payments;
  • Receive data on orders for service rendering, and for changing of service settings.

Using the technical password according to the agreement allows you to:

  • Change the technical password according to the Agreement;
  • Change settings of all services, ordered according to the Agreement;
  • Receive data on orders for service rendering, and for changing of service settings.

The technical password has limited capabilities, compared to the administrative password. It's meant for a specialist, who adjusts technical settings of the service.

Setting and changing the administrative password

The administrative password is obligatory and is set, when the form for conclusion of an Agreement is filled out. Latin letters (Upper case and lower case) and numbers can be used in the password. The password can't consist of more, than 30 characters.

In the future, the administrative password can be changed in your personal account in the section “Account — Security Settings — Administrative Password”, provided that the administrative password is used to log into your personal account.

Ban of recovery of administrative passwords for client's agreement or form (NIC-D) via e-mail

The Agreement owner can ban or allow recovery of administrative passwords (on request) via e-mail using the address, specified in the "e-mail" field of his agreement (form).

Only the Agreement owner himself can set or remove the ban of recovering the password via e-mail on www.nic.ru.

For that one needs to:

  • log into your personal account,
  • go to the section “Account — Security settings — Disable password recovery via email”,
  • click “Disable”/“Allow”.

Setting and changing the technical password

The technical password is optional and is set at the discretion of the contract owner in the personal account in the section "Account - Security Settings". The technical password can also be changed there. To do this, you can log in to your personal account using the administrative password. The password can use Latin letters (upper and lower case) and numbers. The password cannot contain more than 30 characters.
