If you received a message "when allocating zone it was not obtained within 4 days"

When attempting to allocate Customers' zone on the secondary DNS server of the Executor, server starts sending requests for zone transfer to the primary zone server.

If zone transfer fails, secondary DNS server will periodically repeat requests for zone data within 4 days.

If zone transfer from the server, specified as primary, fails for 4 days, attempts for zone allocation on secondary RU-CENTER DNS server will be suspended for 4 days in correspondence with Domains Maintenance Schedule.

Notifications with information on problems emerging from zone transfer and encountered errors will be forwarded to the address identified by Customer as address for messages about services.

It is necessary to remove errors, encountered while attempting to transfer zone. Typical problems and methods of their removal are given here.

In 4 days after termination of attempts of zone transfer attempts will be restored automatically.

In case of necessity to activate zone allocation process earlier, you need to

• Enter "Manage your account" section from www.nic.ru,
• Choose "Update services" from menu,
• Find the service (secondary support service) and click "change" button,
• Make changes (indicate new IP-address for primary server), or activate zone update process.
