Auction Closing. Determining the Auction Winner
How to Enter Auction
To enter the auction you will be required to:
- conclude a Service Agreement with the RU-CENTER Partner (by the Partner's form);
- on web-server auction.nic.ru generate an bidding request through the
RU-CENTER Partner.
After the above actions have been done, your bid specified in the
bidding request will be registered in the auction, and you and
your Partner managing your form will be duly notified thereof by e-mail.
How to Change a Bid
When you enter the auction, the bid indicated by you in the bidding request
is always registered as your first bid. The bid can be
changed only in the course of the auction, after the previous bid has been
registered and if only your bid is not the Best bid at the current moment.
You or the Partner managing your form may change the bid.
The bid can be changed manually or through the proxy bidding.
The following actions are to be taken to change the bid manually:
log in to web-server auction.nic.ru (enter the contract
number with NIC-D index and administrative password);
in menu "My Auctions" select item " Domain Auction: Buyer Profile" -
"Auctions: Active";
find the required domain in the list of active auctions and click
on the domain name;
enter the required bid value into field "New bid" and click on
"Enter". New bid shall not exceed the Best bid for a value more than the
auction increment. The auction increment ranges from 20 to 50 conventional money
units. If a Blitz price is published in the auction, it is allowed to set
the bid at the value equal to the Blitz price.
Proxy bidding
If you know the maximum price, which you are ready to offer for a domain, and if you
want your bid to increase automatically during the auction up to a certain desired value,
enter that value in the "Maximum bid" field and the proxy bidding will be increasing your
bid automatically. The proxy bidding will bid up with a minimum possible auction increment
and if only your bid is not the Best bid.
How to Withdraw from Auction
You may withdraw from the auction only if the bid set by him/her is not
the Best bid or Second bid among all Bidders' stakes.
The following steps are to be taken to withdraw from the auction:
log in to section "My Auctions" on web-server auction.nic.ru;
select menu item "Domains Auction: Buyer Profile" - "Auctions: Active";
find the required domain in the list of your bids on active
auctions and click on the domain name;
click on "Withdraw from auction".
