1. From RU-CENTER to a RU-CENTER Partner

1.1. You transfer support of all services, provided under a service agreement with RU-CENTER, to a RU-CENTER Partner, and remain an Administrator of your domains.

In the process of signing a service agreement with a Partner, please let him know your ID: it corresponds to the number of your service agreement with RU-CENTER and looks the following way:
(number)/NIC-D.

You should present the following letter for domain names transfer:

A letter to RU-CENTER from the domain names Administrator with a request to transfer support of all services provided under a service agreement with RU-CENTER to a RU-CENTER Partner, and temporarily put all services under a service agreement with RU-CENTER on hold due to the transfer to a RU-CENTER Partner

  • from an individual or a business owner (HTMLRTF)

2. From RU-CENTER to another Registrar

You transfer support of your domain names, registered by RU-CENTER, to another Registrar, and remain their Administrator.

First of all, we recommend you to discuss the possibility of transferring the domain names with the Registrar, who will support the domains according to your plan.

In order to transfer the domains from RU-CENTER you should present to RU-CENTER a letter from the domains Administrator with a request to transfer domain names support from RU-CENTER to another Registrar.

3.1. From a RU-CENTER Partner to RU-CENTER

3.1.1. You transfer support of all services, provided to you under a service agreement with a RU-CENTER Partner, to RU-CENTER and remain the Administrator of your domain names. .

At first you should find out your password and the ID, given to you by RU-CENTER Partner while registering your domain name. It corresponds to the number of your form in the RU-CENTER database and looks the following way: (number)/NIC-D.

You should present the following letter for domain names transfer:

A letter to RU-CENTER from the Administrator with a request to resume rendering of services under a service agreement with RU-CENTER and to transfer support of all services, provided under a service agreement with a RU-CENTER Partner, to RU-CENTER

Please notify the Registrar, who supports your domain names, about your decision to transfer domain names support to RU-CENTER (the form of notification is determined by the Registrar). The Registrar must perform necessary actions to transfer the domains and notify RU-CENTER about doing that.

If you do not have a service agreement with RU-CENTER, you should fill out a form to sign a service agreement with RU-CENTER and have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions of Regulations for registering domain names in RU domain.

You should present the following letter to RU-CENTER for domains transfer:

A letter from the domain names Administrator with a request to extend RU-CENTER service to the domain names

  • from an organization (HTMLRTF)
  • from an individual or a business owner (HTMLRTF)

In such a case, it is not mandatory for individuals to present a notarized power of attorney to sign the letter.

4.2. From another Registrar to a RU-CENTER Partner

You transfer support of your domain names, registered by another Registrar, to a RU-CENTER Partner, and remain their Administrator.

Please notify the Registrar, who supports your domains, about your decision to transfer domains support to RU-CENTER (the form of notification is determined by the Registrar). The Registrar must perform necessary actions to transfer the domains and notify RU-CENTER about doing that.

Sign a service agreement with a RU-CENTER partner, who will support the domains. Domain transfer from one RU-CENTER account to another

5. You have two service agreements with RU-CENTER, and you transfer support of all your domain names to one of them. The second must be cancelled.

You should present to RU-CENTER a letter from the domain names Administrator:

  • from an organization (HTMLRTF)
  • from an individual or a business owner (HTMLRTF)

In such a case, it is not mandatory for individuals to present a notarized power of attorney to sign the letter, but it is necessary to enclose a copy of the individual's passport; a copy of the letter can be faxed to +7 (495) 737-0602.

Notice. In the process of domain name rights transfer sometimes it is required to transfer rights for additional services for this domain as well (Primary, Secondary, Web-forwarding, Mail-forwarding, hosting). If the domain name and additional services are administrated under the same agreement (account), requests for the domain name and additional services transfer can be included in one letter.

If you want to cancel the service agreement, under which the domain names were registered earlier, after domain support transfer, you should draw up the cancellation agreement.

Please note that in the process of the Primary-Standard service transfer from one RU-CENTER service agreement (account) to another, all records, entered to the zone manually, are deleted. If you want to keep the existing records, you should make a copy of the zone file in advance, and after transfer of the service to another service agreement (account) you should restore the data using the zone files editor DNS-Master (the link "Additional services", the section "Loading the zone file from your computer").

 

Domain name rights transfer to another person (owner change)


6.1. Domain name support is transferred from RU-CENTER to a RU-CENTER Partner

6.1.1. You transfer a domain name, supported by RU-CENTER, to another person. After the domain name is transferred to a new Administrator, domain name is to be supported by a RU-CENTER Partner. The new Administrator has a service agreement with RU-CENTER as well (rendering of services under this service agreement will be temporarily stopped after domain name transfer to a RU-CENTER Partner).

The new Administrator should sign a service agreement with a RU-CENTER Partner, who will support the domain names.

In the process of signing a service agreement with a RU-CENTER Partner, the new Administrator must let him know his ID: it corresponds to the number of the service agreement with RU-CENTER and looks the following way: (number)/NIC-D.

Please note that in the process of domain name rights transfer sometimes it is required to transfer rights for additional services for this domain as well (Primary, Secondary, Web-forwarding, Mail-forwarding, hosting). 9. Domain name support is executed by the previous Registrar or Partner.

9.2. You transfer a domain name, supported by a RU-CENTER Partner, to another person. After the domain name is transferred to a new Administrator, domain name is to be supported by the same RU-CENTER Partner.

The new Administrator should sign a service agreement with a RU-CENTER Partner, who will support the domain names. In the process of signing a service agreement, the Administrator gets an ID, corresponding to the number of his form in the RU-CENTER database, and looking the following way: (number)/NIC-D.

Please note that in the process of domain name rights transfer sometimes it is required to transfer rights for additional services for this domain as well (Primary, Secondary, Web-forwarding, Mail-forwarding, hosting). If the domain name and additional services are administrated under the same agreement, requests for the domain name and additional services transfer can be included in one letter. Otherwise you should present individual letters for domain name transfer and transfer of additional services. The form of an additional services transfer letter is similar to the form of a domain name transfer letter. The letter must be sent on behalf of the person, who is using the services at present time.

You should present the following letters for domain names transfer:

Letter 1. To RU-CENTER from the current Administrator concerning domain name rights transfer to a new Administrator

  • from an organization (HTMLRTF)
  • from an individual or a business owner (HTMLRTF)

Letter 2. To RU-CENTER from the new Administrator with a confirmation of the intent to accept the domain name and support it in the RU-CENTER Partner organization.
